TUNING WITH THE GODS

C2C FESTIVAL
Ethnography & netnography
An immersive study grounded in participant observation across both physical spaces and digital communities.
This methodology maps live behaviors, rituals, and social dynamics, capturing the deeper meaning of the experience directly through the eyes of the audience.
Neuroscience experiments
We deploy cutting-edge biometric tools (EEG, eye-tracking, and polygraphs) to measure real-time physiological and brain responses.
This research quantifies neural synchrony and interpersonal psychophysical alignment, proving how collective participation alters us at a biological level.
Projective techniques
Frameworks that map the subconscious and emotional landscape of an event.
Using multi-sensory metaphors, we capture non-verbal signals and deep personal reflections, decoding the unspoken mechanics of shared presence.
Tuning with the Gods is an interdisciplinary study conducted in collaboration with C2C Festival to investigate the cognitive, emotional, and physical dimensions of collective synchrony.
By evaluating live avant-pop performance as a dynamic ecosystem of shared resonance, the project challenges traditional audience metrics by quantifying how live music environments actively combat contemporary social isolation and induce collective states of flow.
The project implemented a hybrid methodological framework integrating applied neuroscience, digital ethnography, and projective atmospheric mapping.
Through on-site electroencephalography (EEG) and physiological tracking, paired with real-time qualitative reporting from a dedicated participant community, the research systematically compared the neurological and emotional responses of individuals in shared live settings against isolated listening conditions.
The findings provide empirical evidence that collective artistic engagement triggers spontaneous inter-brain synchronization and somatic alignment.
This phenomenon generates a unique state of "alone-togetherness", wherein attendees retain personal autonomy while simultaneously merging into a cohesive affective network.
Ultimately, the study establishes a new framework for evaluating cultural assets beyond ticket sales. It redefines music festivals as critical social infrastructures and offers strategic parameters for institutions and brand partners to design immersive, non-intrusive experiences grounded in human resonance.
